Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team as an IPR Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting Intellectual Property services (Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, Designs, and related IP solutions), building and maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets through various outreach methods including cold calling and email campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the IPR domain through market research, networking, cold calling, and cold emailing.
- Promote and sell IPR services such as Patent Filing, Trademark Registration, Copyright, Industrial Design, IP Portfolio Management, and IP Strategy Consulting.
- Develop and execute targeted email campaigns to engage potential clients.
- Conduct client meetings (online/offline) to understand their requirements and propose suitable IP solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, startups, law firms, and individual inventors.
- Collaborate with the technical/legal team to prepare proposals, service agreements, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and sales activities in CRM tools.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay updated on IP laws, trends, and market opportunities to effectively position our services.
- Attend conferences, exhibitions, and industry networking events to promote services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Prior experience in Sales/Business Development, preferably in IPR, Legal, or Professional Services industry.
- Strong understanding of Intellectual Property Rights and related processes (preferred, training will be provided if needed).
Key Skills:
- Cold Calling & Email Outreach: Ability to engage prospects and generate leads via phone and email.
- IPR Knowledge: Basic understanding of Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, and Designs.
- Sales Skills: Strong lead generation, pitching, and negotiation skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English (knowledge of regional languages is a plus).
- Relationship Management: Ability to maintain long-term client relations.
- Market Research: Competence in identifying market trends and potential clients.
- Presentation Skills: Ability to create and deliver impactful sales presentations.
- Target-Driven: Self-motivated with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- CRM & Tools: Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and online research tools.
